Afternoon  departure to visit of Toledo, focused on the Cristo De La Luz Mosque.
Toledo is one of the Spanish cities with the greatest heritage of monuments, known  as the "City of The Three Cultures", because Christians, Arabs and Jews lived there together for centuries, Toledo  preserves  behind  its walls an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues.

Cristo De La Luz mosque, It has a square floor plan;  the facade is made of brick, decorated with a series of arches that call to mind the great mosque of Cordoba. Inside, horseshoe arches support nine vaults, whose design varies in different areas of the nave. The transept was added when it was consecrated for christian  worship, along with a mudejar-style apse decorated with blind arches. Depanure to Cordoba, The city a has throughout history been a cultural melting pot, providing a powerful source of inspiration to poets and artists, more than 2,000 years are contained in it's history. Jews, Muslims and Christians have left definite mark, enriching the city throughout centuries and making Cordoba a city of tolerance. This cultural richness is epitomized in the Mosque of Cordoba, a structure of universal magnificence. The construction of the mosque begun  in  the year 785, the building evolved over centuries and was added  to by various arab kings. It is therefore a mixture of different architectural styles. Inside, a forest of about 850 columns make for a repetitive motif of crisscrossing alleys not unlike the effect of a hall off mirrors.

After the visit to the mosque, enjoy a walk through the nearby jewish quarter and the Calleja De Las Flores, short visit to die only remaining synagogue of the city. Not many  places in the world can say they have been the capital of hispania ulterior (further Spain) under the roman empire, and capital of the umayyad caliphate. This splendour can also be seen because of the intellectualism of  this city of knowledge, where figures likeseneca, averroes or maimonides were born.

Dinner in local restaurant & overnight in Cordoba.
